Experience
I absolutely love teaching. I'm currently employed as a teacher at a Montessori school, and I also had the opportunity to work with elementary students while in college. I helped students with their reading skills, which was part of a research project through my university. As a tutor, I feel it is very important that I not only help each student set goals, but that I also work alongside them until each goal is achieved. I am able to tutor in a wide range of subjects, including Biology, Psychology, Essay Writing, Grammar and Mechanics, Literature, Phonics, Reading, Writing, World History, Science, Social Sciences, and Social Studies. I also have experience helping students prepare for various standardized tests, including the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. I am both patient and flexible with my students, and feel confident in my ability to help others succeed. I am a graduate of The University of Georgia, and plan to return to school next year in pursuit of a Ph.D. in School Psychology. When I'm not working or tutoring, I enjoying reading, writing, playing video games, and fencing.
